BUSINESS DEPRESSION

by | Dec 18, 2020

Part of being self-employed is dealing with the ups and downs of your business. We can go months (maybe years) where we are overwhelmed with business stop all of our marketing efforts and feel over-worked and happy that we are “finally doing well”. Then we have months (hopefully not years) where we feel like our business is failing and we have too much time.

Sometimes this can lead us (especially women) to feeling like our business is an emotional rollercoaster (kind of like life and parenting). Emotional Roller-Coasters are exhausting so here is the key to making yourself feel better.

REMOVE YOUR EMOTIONS FROM YOUR BUSINESS

As I have said in previous posts, your business should not be your life and your emotions should have nothing to do with your business.

  1. your clients are not your friends
  2. an angry client is about the business not you
  3. you should have a fulfilled life that doesn’t revolve around your business and doing well at it.

When you forget these things you set yourself up for depression, if you are depressed you can’t help anyone-not you-your family -or your business!!!!

Happy Business!
