Today was a hard day I sat there trying to think of what to blog about. August is a slow month there is not much happening.
My head is filled with October 7 videos, school issues and
Current events. So I decided to blog about current events.
In August people go away but not enough. A couple of weeks back some school busses with Hebrew writing on them were burned one “caught fire”. The question remains how? Nobody has even attempted to answer that. The very same week a reform Jewish School had a Shed in the back catch fire, windows were broken and the fire spread to the schools. The police arrested the man who was apparently homeless on arson but how can we believe them? What if there was actually a day camp in there?
CRA revoked charity status on 2 Jewish charities one being JNF that plants trees in Israel. JNF has been a Canadian charity for over $120 years.
The situation has gottwn ao bad that when I had to file something personal that dealt with religous issues and was unsucceasful for more than 2 weeks I couldnt help but wonder if the content and my Jewish name were to blame. Thankfully the court did accept the documents, but it was not a nice sight.
According to Stats Canada 70% of reigously motivated hate crimes were directed towards Jews.
Canada is changing there is no denying that. Our court system is more broken than ever before and we must be aware of this situation as well. Onlien filing make sit very easy to be rejected for no apparent basis. Because we have onlien filing the hours to file in person are much less conveniant and therefore disregard the needs of the very people they should be serving.
