What’s wrong with trying to do it all yourself and save money? Over my years, I have been consulted as a one time appointment to get a run down or opioion but the clietn has no intenetion of hiring. Not me, or anyone else. Many people believe if they get an idea of how to do it theyu could do it themselves after being “taught” for maybe a grand total of an hour. So why not try to do it yourself?
The problem with this mentality is simple. Every case is unique and no cases are going to progress the same. You wil have different offers to settle, different opposing parties with different attitudes and different details that make the case more or less attainable.
The other issue is that its hard to look at your case impartially when it’s yours. This is irrelevant of how educated you are, how well versed you are, or how well you know or research the laws and procedures.
Finally, most people do not have ther proper time and headspace, this is especaiully true for parents with kids at home. That’s why we are a family friendly business and we are here to take this off your to do list and give you more time and energy for other things that matter.
That’s why not to try to do it yoruself.
