When I get this question my first thought is-someone else as dumb as me!
When I first started my paralegal business (SEE HTTPS://SHEVAS-SERVICES.COM/ABOUT-THE-BOOKKEEPER) I was determined to find a way to do it myself as fast as possible and spend as little money as I could. The lesson I learned the hard-way is that maybe you are saving a little by doing it yourself now. But you are never going to do it as well as a pro and you will lose money over the course of the next year or so by not getting as much business as you could have.
In personal life this is also a lesson I have had to learn. You can’t always be so independent. We seem to believe that we should be independent. Yet no one is ever really independent we all rely on each other in some way or other (even if you are a farmer you need the seeds). We are a Social Species after all.
Now in my second business I try to be smarter overall and not just do it all myself to get it done with and “save”. This is one of the many lessons I try to share.
