Regarding bookkeeping/accounting assistant. I literally record your businesses transactions, provide financial statements, and use various methods such as QuickBooks, Excel, Google docs, or paper. To record and transcribe your financial statements. I also file personal returns including sole proprietors. Unlike a CPA, I do not have a personal tax number, rather I file your return as if you are doing it yourself. My specialty is to work in the credits, expenses, and deductions so that I am being honest and clean with CRA whilst getting you the best return on your taxes possible.
What I cannot do is negotiate with the CRA on your behalf or represent you against the CRA.
