After doing personal and business taxes for ten years as well as being the family numbers go to, Shevas Bookkeeping is an approved e-filer with the C.R.A. and can do your taxes with disability, dependents, and all types of income, including Personal and Home and Business taxes.

Most people get a T form of at least one kind, the most common type is a T4 and T4A. I am knowledgeable to file all types of Ts with your tax return. This includes disability, dependants, investment income, social assistance, and Covid income.

Traffic Tickets are issued under the Highway Traffic ACT. It can be difficult, or impossible to fight. This depends on the evidence, such as the officer or the traffic camera in the area. Sometimes you can lower the amount and sometimes you can not. This is a very individualized matter. Please call me for a consult to discuss the matter.

Parking Tickets are a provincial offence and are governed by the Provincial Offences ACT. They can be fought if there is a circumstance that can be argued. The HRTO resolves claims of discrimination and harassment brought under the Human Rights Code, a law that protects people in Ontario from discrimination and harassment in five areas:

• accommodation (housing)
• goods, services and facilities
• contracts
• membership in trade and vocational associations.

The Code prohibits discrimination and harassment on any of the following grounds:

• Race
• Colour
• Ancestry
• Place of origin
• Citizenship
• Ethnic origin
• Disability
• Creed
• Sex, including sexual harassment and pregnancy
• Sexual orientation
• Gender identity
• Gender expression
• Family status
• Marital status
• Age
• Receipt of public assistance (Applies only to claims about housing.)
• Record of offences (Applies only to claims about employment and to criminal convictions for which you have received a pardon.)
• Harassment. The Code defines harassment as “a course of vexatious comment or conduct that is known, or ought reasonably to be known, to be unwelcome”. It includes offensive comments or actions directed at you that are related to one or more of the Code grounds.

Small Claims court is what most people think of when they hear court. It is the general court for financial compensation. In Ontario, the authority of Small Claims is up to a maximum of $35,000. I have over 5 years experience in Small Claims. Small Claims Court has a 2-year limitation period to file.

Ellie will help you collect your accounts receivables by following up with your debtors. Ellie has 5 years experience taking care of your receivables. If The debtor does not pay, Ellie will transfer the file to Shevas Legal Services and bring it in SMALL CLAIMS COURT. In the event of putting the defendant in default Ellie can take it to the next level of JUDGEMENT ENFORCEMENT and turn the paper into cash.

Ellie has experience in Accounts Payable whether it is keeping track of monthly bills or managing your Toronto office. Ellie has experience with Accounts Payable and online banking. Ellie also has a trust account as governed by the Law Society of Ontario. So, you can rest easy while Ideal with your finances.
